The Comfort Inn in Bozeman Montana is a very busy hotel in the summer. We typically have 6 students from multiple countries working
during the summer, so it is a great opportunity to interact and learn about the American culture, as well as other countries. Bozeman is a
warm sunny city during the summer, and is surrounded by mountains and several major rivers. Many students have taken advantage of
nearby activities such as rafting, hiking, and biking to name a few. This year a few of our students joined 20,000 fans to watch the local
University football game (American Football). Another highlight of students in years past is Music on Main - every Thursday night
Bozeman's downtown area is blocked off, and there are bands throughout the street, as well as food and drink vendors, and other
activities. Our end of season Bar-B-Que is also a hit with our students.

Job Description:
The primary function of the Room Attendant is to clean guest rooms and other areas by performing the following duties:
• Keeps utility and storage rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Distributes laundered articles and linens
• Change dirty linens
• Disinfects and cleans bath and vanity areas (including sink, mirrors, floor, etc.) with appropriate chemical agent
• Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture and draperies (spot clean where necessary)
• Dusts furniture and equipment
• Polish chrome and other metal work
• Wash walls, ceiling and woodwork
• Wash windows, door panels and sills
• Empty and clean wastebaskets and ashtrays
• Transport trash and waste to dumpster
• Inform maintenance of items in need of repair
• Presents self in a professional and courteous manner at all times while on premises
• Other duties as assigned

The days will fluctuate based on need, but on the 5 days per week being worked, it is generally 9am-430pm

We encourage our permanent staff members to engage and interact with our students outside of the workplace. In the past, students
have been taken to local sporting events, tubing on the Madison River, taken a trip to Yellowstone Park as well as a company Bar-B-Que.
Local Cultural Offering:
Locally, the is the Museum of the Rockies, a well known Museum. The Sweet Pea Festival is an Arts/Crafts/Music Festival the first week in
August. Other events are local soccer games, American Football, and the local baseball team plays a block away from the Comfort Inn.
Housing Provided: Yes. Employer Guarantees employer - owned or employer - arranged housing to all hired participants. May find own
(can choose alternative).



Employer-owned or employer-arranged housing description:
The house is a 3 bedroom house, so if they choose to live in this house, students will have a roommate. House will likely be co-ed, however
bedrooms will not be. There are 2 1/2 bathrooms in the house. There is a large living room with sofa and TV. There is a nice kitchen with
fridge, microwave, stove and oven, as well as a dining area off the kitchen. Silverware, flatware, utensils, pots and pans are provided.
Bedding is provided. There is air-conditioning in the house. There is also a nice back yard with outdoor table and grill for cooking outside.
The house is about a mile from the hotel, so an easy walk or bike ride, and there is a bus stop a couple blocks away to get around town.
Garbage, water, sewer and power will be provided at no charge. If the students would like to add cable TV or Internet to the home, that will
be at their expense.

We typically leave it up to the students to room how they want once they arrive. In advance, I typically try to assign people in to
bedrooms - as arrival days differ, I want to make sure a female arriving late isn't stuck with a male arriving late - so if necessary I
pre-assign the rooms to prevent awkwardness. All 3 bedrooms are on the same floor, and if students are travelling together, they
can e-mail me in advance that they would like to share a room.
