Applimates assures quality in its services and deliverables.

When you create a membership with Applimates, please note that your information will be seen only by Applimates Counselors or Tutors and will not be shared with anyone else. Applimates staff will use your information to understand your specific case in order to help us help you. Your information may also be used for statistical purposes, but only for the benefit of Applimates to better understand our audience and our promotional efforts.

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy and our Term and Conditions, a 'Member' is someone who has created an Applimates account and has purchased a service from Applimates.

Applimates does not issue refunds for services which are purchased and delivered. However, Applimates may consider refunds only under the following circumstances:

  • If an Application Materials Review service is purchased but not delivered within the specficed timeframe. Applimates is commited to returning reviewed documents within 48 hours. If we are not able to so do, a full refund will be provided.
  • If a faulty Test Preparation Material is purchased and cannot be fixed by Applimates. Members must let Applimates know immediately if a faulty Test Preparation Material has been purchased so that the problem can be investigated. If Applimates is able to fix the issue, either by providing a new copy or fixing the faulty copy, a refund will not be provided.
  • If an appointment with a Counselor or Tutor is arranged and the Counselor or Tutor does not attend, or is more than 15 minutes late without explanation or effort to reschedule. The Member will be given a full refundif an Applimates Counselor or Tutor does not attend the pre-arranged meeting or is more than 15 minutes late withhout an explanation or effort to reschedule. Applimates Counselors and Tutors will wait a maximum of 15 minutes after the appointment start time for the Member. After that, the appointment will be cancelled and the Member will not be refunded. Please make every effort to be on time.
  • If Applimates cancels and cannot reschedule an appointment. If a reschedule is possible, Applimates will make every effort to reschedule at a time that is convenient to both the Member and the Applimates Counselor/Tutor. No refund will be given if the Member cannot be flexible with his/her time.

Applimates shall not be liable for failure of delivery of service if it is beyond the reasonable control of Applimates, making performace inadvisable, commercially impracticable, illegal or impossible. Events that might make it such include war, riots, fire, flood, hurricane, typhoon, earthquake, lightening, explosion, strikes, lockouts, slowdowns, prolonged shortage or energy supplies and acts of state or governmental action prohibiting or impeding Applimates from performing its obligations under the stipulations of this website.

If it is deemed by Applimates that a refund is necessary, Applimates will reimburse the Member the same amount he/she has paid into the same account from which it was paid. No cash or check reimbursements will be made.
